Design of an operational research algorithm to find an optimal multi-criteria route under constraints.

context
  • Maritime transport (90% of commercial goods transported in the world, 1/8th of the energy consumption of the transport sector) is in continuous growth.
  • The strategy of the international organization IMO is to reduce CO2 emissions by 70% by 2050.
  • Optimizing the route of ships would significantly reduce consumption and therefore their environmental footprint.

ROUTE CALCULATION, REDESIGNED FOR OPERATIONAL PURPOSES.

Thanks to a multi-criteria algorithm integrating weather, regulations and ship parameters, the best course is automatically calculated according to your operational objectives. Do you have a similar project?

Development of an algorithm integrating travel time, energy consumption, safety, and other key criteria.
Benefit
In this trip optimization project, we were able to take into account multiple parameters by creating a modular algorithmic architecture, thus facilitating the addition of new parameters.
