In a context where drones and robotic systems are developing and finding numerous use cases in the maritime industry, OSE Engineering supported an autonomous robotics player in the development of an innovative solution aimed at improving the operational and energy efficiency of their embedded systems.

context
The project carried out in collaboration with our client is based on the design of an intelligence embedded on surface ships, allowing them to carry out certain operations independently. This innovative system respects the operational constraints of vessels (regulations, maneuvering capacity) and adapts to different weather and sea conditions.

The main objective is to allow the ship to perform navigation functions such as dynamic positioning, docking or obstacle avoidance independently. This type of technology can be deployed on drones or on manned ships as an aid to decision and maneuvering.
innovations
To meet the requirements of the project, OSE Engineering has developed advanced numerical modeling, optimization and artificial intelligence solutions aimed at maximizing the performance of embedded systems.
The main innovations focus on:
Digital twins
