Driven by new regulations limiting pollutant emissions, maritime transport is beginning its energy transition. It’s a true engineering challenge, relying on both hardware innovations (notably sail propulsion systems or carbon capture technologies) and software innovations to optimize ship design and energy efficiency.
Optimizing ship energy performance is a major challenge for decarbonizing maritime transport. We developed a solution that integrates advanced AI and simulation models to predict ship performance in realistic navigation conditions from the design stage, thereby supporting architecture and sizing decisions.
